Song Parodies -> "The Muslim Superstate Song"

Original Song Title:

"The Star Spangled Banner"

Original Performer:

Traditional

Parody Song Title:

"The Muslim Superstate Song"

Parody Written by:

Laurence Dunne

The Lyrics

Dont shoot me! I've also parodied the British National Anthem, so it's not meant to be anti-american, honest. There is a growing school of thought that predicts the future formation of a muslim superstate in south asia. Their national anthem might sound like this.
Abdul can you see
calls to prayer every night
and a fast every day
now that ramadan's in sight
Now the suicide bomb
made the west be all gone
And the secret police
confiscate copies of 'Grease'

And the Burkah is in
shaving beards is a sin
With our sharia law
May allah bless all

Sure is a sharp contrast to the original. This is pure parody. Well done.

The Star-Spangled Banner itself took the melody of an old British drinking song. I think it was called "Agamon In Heaven". As for your hypothetical muslim superstate, I would think that its name would include "Palestine" rather than "Isreal".

Steve, that was the whole joke, the implication that the muslim superstate could conquer Israel

Royce said it all.
