A month or two way early,

We're beginning to here all that Bull-$%!@,
Get your gifts today,
All the games and cards and toys,
For your favorite girls and boys,
Don't wait till Remembrance Day

All the Christmas sales,
And that Scrooge Approved,
You'll see it at nearly every store,

Riculous Massive discounts,
Merchandise in obscene amounts,
And now I'm asking what is this for,

And now I'm missing the self-imposed restraint of the days of yore

It's too soon to be celebrating Christmas,
It's done in ways we haven't seen,
Pretty soon they will show,
While the streets are void of snow,
Santa costumes for Halloween

Maybe it's good for their business,
But some will stay away,
From mince pies and candy canes,
And christmas lights and Christmas trains,
that are up before Remembrance Day!
