As abhorrent as all of this is... Trump DOES force his opponents to state their positions on controversial topics which started with illegal immigration. As for a nation of immigrants, US history started with the desire to worship God freely and to obtain liberty. But radical Islamists do not seek to come here to do the former. They seek to infiltrate the US to perform terrorist acts that kill US citizens and destroy US property. The military, Intel services, and police do not have the resources to track all these people and monitor all mosques 24/7. So Trump is correct in that no one can accurately assess the true threat to national security. His approach, however, is overkill which is then overhyped by the media and pundits as well as rivals on both sides. Will it affect his numbers? Probably not... 555 Bob! Great parody!

Muslims/muzzle 'em. Great rhyme. A tough issue. The US cannot, and should not have second class citizens. But, what sort of religion or ideology would impel a mother to abandon her child and willingly seek death in order to kill others, including fellow Muslims who had come to this country to escape Islamic terror in Iran?

We cannot and should not blame a religion for the misguided actions of its followers. Religion is one thing. Actions are another. In this country we hold people responsible for their actions. Their beliefs are a private and protected matter.

But it's not as simple as that anymore Bob. ISIS is not preaching Islam, but a form of medieval Satanism that calls for the destruction of Israel, the United States specifically, the West, and all Infidels of any opposing religion. They advocate lone wolf attacks and those Muslims are HERE now, NOT contained as Obama claims in Syria and Iraq. We cannot even deal with them over there and San Bernardino proved that we have no clue how many Muslims here are being radicalized with plans to attack US citizens and US structures. Had the couple not chosen an alternate target over a dispute, they could have went to a mall armed with the AR-15s, pistols, and the pipe bombs killing hundreds of victims including civilians and police alike. Israel was unpopular when it first started Pre-emptive strikes against enemies, but in retrospect it was the right thing to do. The US and West are playing catch-up using that model and it is far better that protecting Rights over citizens. The first duty of the Republic and the POTUS is to protect America and the American people. Trump is right to demand our borders be secured as any other nation and to prevent any threat foreign or DOMESTIC by ANY means. The military, Intel services, and police investigative branches are already trying to monitor mosques in the US and sift through millions of communications and documents to determine Red Flag individuals in an effort to keep us safe. ISIS is here now and in Europe bringing terror. The French, despite claimed resilience, are in lock-down with troops and police armed all over that nation. I ask you... is that your concept of freedom? And most Parisians interviewed still admit living in fear. In the US we can arm ourselves and damn straight, if I were in a mall, house of worship, etc... and a gunman walked in and started shooting, I would not hesitate to kill that person even if I died trying. Every school teacher should be made to take handgun safety classes and have access to a weapon. Same for on sight security. We see that Gun Free Zones are a joke and can lead to turkey shoots. And spiritual leaders of Islam should be vigilant and report subversion in their mosques so that true Islam is not distorted. Same for any other religion with sub-divisions that preach hate and who vow to destroy Western civilization by any means. We ARE at war with these people. And if faithful Muslims condemn Radical Islam, where are their massive protests and outspoken leaders here? Obama has lied about containment, boots on the ground, and the internal threat to America. Self-radicalized Muslims that want to kill domestically are Enemies of the State and should be stripped of all rights and privileges. Roosevelt was right to take certain actions for the good of all Americans but even so, various prominent US Companies defied the Trading with the Enemy act and did business with Nazi Germany during the war and were not punished. They include Alcoa, National Steel, Du Pont, Chase Bank, Ford, IBM, ITT, and others that still exist. Sometimes America's greatest freedoms are liabilities. Simply stated, we cannot afford to be liberal anymore.

How many Americans have been killed by radical Islamists on our our shores since 9/11? How many have been killed by right-wing terrorists? Face it, our deadliest enemies were born in the U.S.A. The President doesn't need Congress' permission to kill terrorists, and he's done a damned good job of it. But Congress needs to act on the f***ing guns. And to do that, we need a liberal Democratic Congress AND a liberal Democratic President. When our kids are getting killed by right-wing maniacs with guns, and when kids are killing other kids with their parents' guns, then how free ARE we? What the hell are our troops fighting for when they're in greatest danger at home than in actual war zones?
