"Glock Hair Triggers have Fans (Extended)"

The Lyrics

I used this old racist 4 line kid's song extended to point out the hair trigger with the Glocks and how that has not changed in the slightest. Many guns have hair triggers or have been modified for less trigger pull, lowering the travel considerably. That's why you see some weird angle shots at almost any range where the pistol went off when the trigger was barely touched. It IS unnerving with the 1st shot if unknown, but nothing after the 2nd. I prefer my Walther P-99QA at 5 and it will outlast the Glocks and SIGs by a wide margin (50,000+ rds or lifetime of no jams, stoppages, nor barrel warp- same for HKs). Most autos jam or experience mechanical problems at between 6-10,000 rds or suffer barrel warp in the long run.
Gang members like Glock glam
Gat goes “BLAM! BLAM”
Often have hair triggers
Popular in Hood Nigga shootin’ sprees!*

PO have Glocks on hand
Still in demand
Most come with hair triggers
Easy use with fingers, travel 3!**

Glocks used in shootout plans
Both sides are fans
But Walther is stronger
Will shoot much longer than a 17!!!

[Or any other model auto P]
* "Hood Nigga" used in proper context of OG slang meant NOT to be offensive ** a hair trigger is NOT definately defined by manufacturers nor by Law, but in State and Federal cases involving firearms use it is usually 3 lbs pull or under. Most Police Glocks are set with such at 2.5 lbs. Normal for auto pistols run 5-9 lbs depending on factory settings and model of pistol, era.

Last Glock I had I bought a "New York" trigger. A second unintended shot on the range is bad enough, don't want it to happen on the street. The parts guy was surprised anyone wanted to buy a 12-pound connector.

Patrick, I'm sure you remember when the first Glocks came out that it was instantly dubbed the "Plastic Pistol" due to composite frame and was supposedly "invisible" to airport X-Ray machines!!! A terrorist dream weapon!!! What idiocy as the gun has plenty of internal metal parts and metal mag. I like the old Glock 17L...

There is more steel in a Glock than in box full or Raven, Jennings, Bryco pistols. And those get detected all the time. Went for jury duty yesterday. Metal detectors at courthouse were picking up belt buckles. Airports scanners routinely detect kids' plastic water pistols.
