The Lyrics

Israeli prime minister Netanyahu declared that Iran has entered the "red zone" in developing a nuclear weapon. Both Obama and Romney say that they set a "red line" against Iranian success. Will sanctions be enough or will military strikes be needed? TOS's chorus is familiar but its two stanzas are not.
When I was a youth, my mullahs often said to me:
Take hostages for fee, before we loose them free. [1]
I soon took some over, but no ransom could I find;
It seems that Ronald Reagan was not leading from behind.
I will have to hold my ground until the right time comes around.

I want a nuke just like your nukes, says Ahmadinejad;
I'll boss the world when it's thrown or hurled at dhimmis [2] for ji-had.
A good ballistic missile starts long cruise,
Stuns and shoves those bloody hell-bent Jews.
I'll want more nukes just like that nuke; be wary, fear, I'm mad.

Where the towers gleam, there sits a country holding sway;
Through fears they fold away, where hearts are stung each day. [3]
Mother fears Islamic radicals might let nukes fly;
She feels they'll miss, beyond her place, but grieves for those who'll die.
No more dhimmis can be free; Al-lah has shined his love on me.

I want a nuke just like your nukes, says Ahmadinejad;
I'll boss the world when it's thrown or hurled at dhimmis for jihad.
A good ballistic missile starts long cruise,
Stuns and shoves those bloody hell-bent Jews.
I'll want more nukes just like that nuke; be wary, fear, I'm mad.

[1] Refers to the 1978 taking of 52 American embassy employees in Iran for 444 days.
[2] Non-believers in Islam are subject to a tax, conversion or death by Sharia law.
Refers to continual losses of military and civilian personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.

For variety, change "be wary, fear, I'm mad" to "it's very clear, I'm bad" in the last line. In [1], I meant 1979; Ahmadinejad participated in the raid.

Clever use of an unwieldy name to produce a rhyme. This is a war nobody wants and will wreck what little recovery the government is lying to us about.

Hmmmm.... tax? conversion? death? Seems like a hard choice. :D

Patrick: Actually Mahmoud's surname is simple compared to some other Muslim names. I think he does want this war; it will presage return of the 12th Imam to rule an Islamic Caliphate.
Meriadoc: Unfortunately, the "believer" gets to make the choice these days.
