The Lyrics

Hope I didn't miss the deadline for Saint Patrick's Day - got a little caught up with the drinking of the green.

John McCormack's version of the original can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgQCPifM-p8
There’s a fear in your mind
As you run short of time
And your Chevrolet creeps to a crawl
Will take hours, single file
To go one stupid mile
Or forever, if someone should stall
When the street’s filled with draft mares
And dung’s very strong
As their thighs tinkle nightmares that heap
You feel trashed and defiled
As they smother your style
You revile the piles so deep

When Amish guys are driving
Tempers spike and horns do ring
Standin’ still behind the traffic
You can hear the rage they bring
When lines of cars are static
As they hoard the passing lane
In their Amish rides, depriving
Your appeal, discharged in vain

For a while you’re in park
And your lungs start to bark
There’s a quake in your buns that ignites
Middle digit leaps long
Looming tall and so strong
But your blather surrenders in spite
For rumspringa is nigh
And some teens are enthralled
Daring carelessly, sharing, undressed
And while clinging empowers
All out calls to deflower
Endless miles are cramped and stressed

When Amish brides are pining
Pure dislike their whoring brings
Sin and guilt, desire and rapture
Ruing jeers the ancients sling
When Amish tarts are lapsing
They endure delights and stray
And when Amish thighs are grinding
Fury deals a harsh delay

I've driven behind a few Amish buggies. But that's what you visit Amish country to see. Met a fellow once, his dad was Beachy Amish, owned a car. This man drove a horse but had a gasoline generator to run his store. His son lived in another state, used only a horse or windmill to do his work. Backward evolution technologically speaking. Another great rendition of this Irish classic in just two days. Sláinte.

Yesterday was St. Pat's; today must be St Jakob (Ammann) Day. Have some green beer but drive your buggy home.

Sure! Pick on the Amish! You do it because you know they'll never see this! (LOL...I'm pulling thy leg, brother. Nice job once again!) ;D
