Original Performer:

Traditional

Parody Song Title:

"Al's Lame Rhymes"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

...happy new year to all...
may old quaint lyrics be forgot
and never brought to mind
may all those verses be for naught
replaced by al's lame rhymes

to al's lame rhymes. be steered
poor al's lame rhymes
let's all lap up his mindless jests
read al's lame rhymes

its obvious he has no brains
his words, a waste of time
though he's a screwed up crazy coot
read al's lame rhymes

to al's lame rhymes. be steered
poor al's lame rhymes
let's all lap up his mindless jests
read al's lame rhymes

i guess this chap will never learn
his views, he still unwinds
it ain't no good to leave him spurned
read al's lame rhymes

to al's lame rhymes. be steered
poor al's lame rhymes
let's all lap up his mindless jests
read al's lame rhymes

to lower depths, he's bound to stoop
its drivel, that you'll find
but show a little etiquette
read al's lame rhymes

to al's lame rhymes. be steered
poor al's lame rhymes
let's all lap up his mindless jests
read al's lame rhymes

That's Al, Folks... This parody is an accurate description of its writer. Another good one Alvin. Now I gave you two Mob parodies today - I'm waiting for another installment of the "Bates" mini series. Happy New Year my friend.

I thought this was a commentary on Al Yankovich .. who earned wealth and fame simply by being the first to gain notice with his song parodies. Some of his early stuff on MTV was lame, compared to what we've done here .... "I Love Rocky Road?" That title wouldnt even crack the top 10,000 here at Amiright
