The Lyrics

John Doe Who?
Anybody, no one.
Jane Doe too,
Mother of John Doe's son.

Have no clue, of suspect who's, on News Nine at ten.
So when they make the News
A Jake's a John,
Not Bing or Brout or Ben
Bing or Brout or Ben

John Doe II (two)
Son of John Doe fellow.
This John too,
Do not know as well-o.

Use this thing, questioning, are these guys real McCoys?
Not implored to know it,
It's not understood,
They're simply John Doe boys.

John Doe who,
Water did he swallow.
John Doe blue,
Necrology will follow.

Don't know who, to object to, Just sue 'em and then.
And when the judge issues,
And asks who's wrong.
It be John Doe again,
It's John Doe again

John Doe who?
In the morgue's this fellow,
Don't know who,
Turning into jello.

Anything, your questioning of nom de la guerre.
Just ignore, they know it,
It's still understood,
It's simply John Doe fare.

Juan es qui?
Thees senor we doh-no.
'Stas aqui,
Quien 'sta Juan Pueblo?

When you claim, a different name, just use nom de pen.
Anything you use,
Can't make it wrong,
If it's John Doe, not Glenn.
It's John Doe, not Glenn.

You see, your honor, the tea was in fact drunk by the defendant with jam and bread, which brings us back to Doe.

Will the real John Doe please stand up? I repeat will the real John Doe please stand up? I think we're going to have a problem here.

(ABC4-J) Very well written, and quite odd as well. But I like odd parodies, so you've got that going for you. Which is nice.

(J) As always, your parody paces and rhymes spot on with TOS. "Don't know who, Turning into jello.": people soup. Glad I haven't eaten dinner yet, heh heh.

(ABC) I have to be honest guy. . .I didn't really get much of a laugh out of it. Brilliant on the rhyme schemes, but I guess I didn't get into the humor end of it, I guess I need to freshen up on my Spanish is it? Then maybe I'll get it.

(ABC-J) Clever idea and great wordplay. I had to read it several times (and look-up Necrology) to really see, and appreciate, what you did here. And that's a good thing !
