"Thomas vs. Diesel 10"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Attention! Splodge! (Splatter... and..a...Dodge) We're going to sing the song of me and that big blue puffball THOMAS!
After the turn of the century
On the shining rails of Sodor Island
Came a roar and a thunder men had never heard
Like the scream and the sound of a Maybach MD650
On the rails, a British Rail Class 42
Diesel 10 was his name
Eighty engines tried, and eighty engines derailed
Now they're littered all over the countryside

CHORUS:

Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty or more
The bloody Diesel 10 was rollin' out the score
Eighty engines derailed tryin' to end that spree
Of the bloody Diesel 10, of the mainland

In the nick of time, a hero arrived
A blue steam engine with the number 1
He chased after that Diesel to seek revenge
But he teleported to a cliff and fell--"Curses, foiled again!"

CHORUS

Now, Thomas had sworn that he'd get that diesel
So they brought back Lady for a new battle plan
They got chased by Diesel and his driver, P.T. Boomer
While the two were laughing, they arrived at a crumblin' bridge

MUSICAL BREAK

That evil Diesel 10 was in a fix
He'd tried everything, but he'd run out of tricks
Thomas and Lady crossed the bridge safely
But Diesel 10, fell onto a barge

CHORUS (2X)

555 for the parody! But as for historical notes, a few things. As a German, I get tired of the Allied name "Red Baron" b/c vR was actually known as the "Red Knight" (RR) in Germany and Freiherr doesn't exactly translate into Baron. It literally means "Free Man" beholden to none (debt free or rich man). FYI
