Why don't The Verve sleep with blankets? Because the rugs don't work! Why can't The Verve drink tea or coffee? Because the mugs don't work! Why don't The Verve let their fans cuddle them? Because the hugs don't work! Why do The Verve grow great cabbages? Because the slugs don't work! Why do The Verve have a really rubbish computer? Because the debugs don't work! The Nonsensical Lyrics: No change, I can change, I can change, I can change
I am here in my mold, I am here in my mold but I'm a million different people from one day to the next I can't change my mold no no, no no no Why They're Nonsensical: This is an amazing song....but dear lord, what do these lyrics mean? The Verve really was at a loss when they thought of these lines..they are living in mold? Gross!..take a shower already.. and how can you be a million different people.....?....*confused*...also, stop contradicting yourself, you either can or can't change for god sakes!

The Misrhymed Lyrics: I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down,
You know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet. Why They're Misrhymed: "Down" and "meet" don't rhyme.

The Misrhymed Lyrics: No change, I can change,
I can change, I can change. But I'm here in my mold, I am here in my mold. And I'm a million different people From one day to the next. I can't change my mold, No, no, no, no, no. Why They're Misrhymed: The words "change" and "mold" are rhymed with themselves. It is also quite repetitive. Also, "mold" and "next don't rhyme.

"The Drugs Don't Work"
The Inappropriate Lyrics: Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown This time I'm comin' down
Why They're Inappropriate: This song is a real downer but these particular lyrics don't fit. If you put a cat in a bag and try to drown it, the last thing it will do is wait there all sad and depressed. I reckon it would go mental and struggle like hell to get out!
