One time there’s a simian;
Skulll Island’s where he was.
The biggest, biggest, BIGGEST simian
that made the natives buzz.
He filled those who lived on that land
with terror and with dread.
Then one dark day, from far away,
a film crew came, some soused.
Little did they know what danger loomed,
for by hubris they were led,
as through verdant jungle they made treads.
And what they found led to lots o’ bloodshed.

King Kong made many dead—
very big, he’s scary big.
King Kong the big made many dead.

By a decoy he’s led;
it’s Faye Wray who turned his head.
King Kong’s gassed and to New York led.

His steel chains are broken, though,
and so he is then free to go
and climb that concrete thing:
that tall Empire redoubt.

King Kong’s a scary foe;
way up he is set to go.
Up a hundred two floors he must tread.

King Kong the big…soon dead;
very big hole they must dig.
King Kong the big will soon be dead.

Up the Empire, his tread…
grabbed a woman from her bed…
wasn’t Faye Wray, so now she’s dead.

He climbed high, but airplane foe
shot him a lot o’ times and so
he gave up just to fling
himself off and down.

King Kong’s up there no mo’;
he was high, but now he’s low.
New York’s foe big simian is dead.
