The Lyrics

This parody is about the most resilient of cartoon characters, Wile E. Coyote. My choice of OS should require no explaination.
He's a canine, lives in the desert.
Loves chasing his pray all day.
But it's a smart bird, never does worry.
Just zooms by and dashes away.

It's hard life living in the desert.
There's a highway where the chase goes on.
The coyote has a no yield ACME charge card.
He buys gadgets that always go wrong.

He's Wile E. Coyote.
Yeah Wile E. Coyote.

The bird he razzes the coyote.
Wile E. goes after him in a tiff.
And he's craving roadrunner slow roast.
Get's careless and runs of the cliff.

And he's free, free falling.
Always free, free falling.
He's falling, now he's rock crashing, again.
He's falling, now he's in traction, again.

He gets pummeled over and over.
His gadgets blow up in his face.
He whacked by oncoming traffic.
But he still goes on with his chase.

He's Wile E. Coyote.
Yeah Wile E. Coyote.

Scathe, lovely work. Other than 'pray' needing to be 'prey' it was perfect.

My own version of free falling - Duck Calling http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/tompetty17.shtml also results in no eating of fowl.

The fun part is that after he runs off the cliff, gravity doesn't take effect until after he looks down.

Steve, boy was I bummed the instant I realized that it's not like that in real life! Scathe, well done song on my favorite cartoon ever.

This is the funniest Looney Tunes parody I've ever read! I always enjoy seeing Road Runner outwit Wile E Coyote! 5-5-5!

I always loved watching things fall on the Coyote. My father used to call that "Coyote Sandwich." Not to be confused with "Coyote Ugly." Hmmmm, Maria Bello... I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

(SOTM) I guess I'd be a spoilsport if I pointed out that a coyote could easily outrun a road runner in real life. That always bugged me as a kid. 555 anyway.

(SOTM) Roadrunners are seen in my area. So are coyotes. I had a roadrunner roosting in my back yard for several months once. He even perched himself on one of my vehicles several times. I like the cartoon version better. But contrary to the cartoon bird the real ones can and do take to flight. Well done.

What I wonder is whether or not the Road Runner has been tested for steroids, it might be that it is the Coyote who is the victim of foul play in this fairytale.

I am looking for a specific Looney Tunesbut can't seem to find... and I'm not sure quite how to describe it; I am searching for the Roadrunner Wile E. Coyote cartoons WITH the Roadrunner SONG in the cartoon. It goes something like... "Roadrunner, if he catches you you're through... Road Runner," etc., etc. Does this song ring any bells with anyone? I have a few of thhe cartoons but none of them have this song. Does anyone know which Roadrunner cartoons played this anthem??? If anyone has any clues to this I sure would appreciate your help: markalan@prodigy.net

(SOTM) - I don't mind that the Road Runner always beats him, but how come that anvil's always there - and how come he always overtakes the anvil as they're both falling (despite Galileo's suggestion to the contrary) and then the anvil changes course mid-air to Wile E's flightpath - that's plain not fair - what an unlucky bugger

When I dated Brenda Jovanovic, she would whisper beep beep in my ear. We would go home, break out the shower curtains and pour olive oil on them and get frisky with other. That was lots of fun.

Great parody. 5 dynamite sticks, 5 painted backdrops, 5 'gravity-works-in-eccentric-wave-forms-in-cartoons' body-stretching cliff-plummets.

Loved it man. "oncoming traffic" was the best. Always hilarious how there was no traffic on those deserted roads until JUST the right time when an 18 wheeler would cruise right on through.
