The Lyrics

Leave It To Beaver's Eddie Haskell was one of the greatest second bananas of late-50s/early-60s TV. Who woulda thought he'd grow up to become Bill Clinton?
Fe Fe - Fi Fi - Fo Fo - Fum,
I smell a rat coming to the Cleaver home.

(Chorus)
Eddie Haskell . . . Eddie Haskell.
He's a rascal - That Eddie Haskell.
"Good evening, Mrs. Cleaver - Is your son, Wallace free?"
"Why's Old man Cleaver giving me the third degree?!!"

(Verse)
Dressed in BVDs - Out in the cold.
Someone snatched his khaki chinos - Ran 'em up the flag pole.

(Chorus)
Eddie Haskell . . . Eddie Haskell.
What a ham - "You got it, Sam!"
His Eddie Haskell cheeks - are flappin' in the breeze.
"Why're all the girls always laughin' at me?!!"

(That Confounded Bridge)
Who's givin' business to the Beav?
Bummin' rides in Lumpy's jalopy?
Hasn't had a date since '53?
Guess who (Eddie?) "You got it, Gertrude!"

(Verse)
Who draws on the blackboard - diagrams,
To show what a Beaver Cleaver really am?

(Chorus)
Eddie Haskell . . . Eddie Haskell.
What a rascal . . . That Eddie Haskell.
Still in the 10th grade - He must be sixty-three.
"Why's Mrs. Rayburn always pickin' on me?!!"

The thing with ol' Eddie is that everyone knows someone exactly like him. This is what made him so great on that old show. Great parody, David. I noted a small pacing problem with the name Eddie Haskell as opposed to Charlie Brown but I'm sliding you on it.

Great job! I did something about Wally Cleaver recently. Check out "Hello, Wally!" at http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/louisarmstrong6.shtml

Thanks, Jack, Guy. Yeah, it was a judgement call on the pacing, but the original song, "Charlie Brown" sets such a good stage for an Eddie Haskell parody. Charlie Brown (the song's hero - not the Peanuts character) is everything Eddie wants to be, but isn't. For him, it's just bravado.

As I like to say, a 5 for Pacing doesn't mean "Perfect", it only means "Lots" - and there's lots to laugh about in this Beaverological study of The Haskellnator. 555

Tank ya, tank ya. Yes Jan, I loved your Wally parody. Remember, you suggested that someone come up with an "Eddie" parody. Well, someone did.
