 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Teresa Brewer

Parody Song Title:

"Beans, Beans, Beans"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

In memory of Teresa Brewer
Put a pot of pork and beans,
On the buffet - By all means.
I like down to earth cuisine,
And music, music, music!

Cauliflower melody,
Harmony with broccoli -
Add beans to the recipe,
For music, music, music!

Waiter, bring more beans, waiter!
What makes any meal a treat for me -
Is a loud sphincter melody.

Pinto beans and black beans, too,
Nothing but legumes will do,
I adore beans in my stew,
And music, music, music.

Eating your veggies like a good boy, I see. Musical trivia: The "closer" part (to which you've put "Waiter") was taken from the 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody of Franz Liszt.

Steve K; Really!! I noticed that myself, but I thought that was coincidental. I thought of that old song when I remembered something that keeps going around the net. The was seen in a church bulletin, "Bean supper in the social hall - music will follow." And then I read that Teresa Brewer died the next day.
