Song Parodies -> "Cruel Otters"

Original Song Title:

"Cool Water"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Sons Of The Pioneers

Parody Song Title:

"Cruel Otters"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

a pleasant face
such swimmin' grace
but full of hate, are otters
cruel otters

old dan and i
left high and dry
we cannot hide from otters
cruel otters

they're found in pools
don't play by rules
cause hatred fuels the otters
cruel otters

we think they're gone
but come the dawn
we're pounced upon by otters
cruel otters

keep a-movin', dan
don't you be a victim, dan
they've acquired a taste for man
and they'll kill ya, if they can
those otters

dan, try to climb that big green tree
where the otters cannot see
they have dinner plans for me...and you
otters...cruel otters

the branches sway
we start to pray
will we be slain by otters ?
cruel otters

from way down there
they lurk and stare
they know we're scared of otters
cruel otters

dan hit the floor
let out a roar
attacked by hordes of otters
cruel otters

he's dead, i guess
i'm so depressed
should not have messed with otters
cruel otters

Thanks so much for this parody. After playing two parodies with the original "Ghost Riders" (Ghost Chickens and Ghost Yuppies) this brings in the beginning of a new trio based on "Cool Water" and this here. While I get a big laugh out of some of the "blue" parodies it is still best, I think, to find songs that are just as funny that can be performed for an audience of everyone. Thanks for the fun.
