The Lyrics

Old Wringers,
They're the ones,
Long ago, that would do the wash,
We'd hear them slosh..
They were Old Wringers,
Maybe Maytag, or Kenmore,
Antique Sears brands,
They worked with hands..

Girls used caution when washin', had fear
Hoped their boobs, from the tubes, would stay clear
Pioneer women wore..like their sisters,
Callouses..on their hands,
And blisters..

Old Wringers,
On wood floors..
The stove and the kitchen shook,
Much time it took,,

Home made soap made to float in the tub
Extra-soiled needed boiled and pre-rubbed
Bigger bosomed girls knew...watch the nipple
Rubber rollers could
Snip, grip,
and tip, pull..

Old Wringers
Nowadays,
Only used Amish-ly..
It's where they're still sold
'Cause their ways are old
Launder cold,
Tech, withhold,
Treasured gold,
Rare gold..

Wringers, old..

Great history lesson for younger amIrighters. Maybe spurred invention of the bra (necessity is the mother ...) Creative word subs throughout. Found antique one on eBay for $555.

Wow, someone put the rinse cycle on! Eliminating 555 "wrings" around the collar for this one!

His name is Won...Airfarcewon! Thanks for using my favorite Bond movie song. I remember these devices well, although I doubt if my mother ever used one. And we now know the origin of a VERY graphic painful cliche! ;D

1800 parodies (congrats on that), and you can still come up with two over-the-top title switches in one day .. .amazing. 555

@ Old Man Ribber: Early in TT's time here, he got stuck in a Goldfinger rut and did *nine* spins. Not gonna plug 'em, but if interested, you know where to find them. (Hint: on TT author page, you can click "original title", and it will sort them by OS, so that all the GFs (*not* "girlfriends, heh!) will be grouped together and easy to find alphabetically. Probably not worth the trouble, though. :)
