As Oct 21, 2011 passed without incident it became apparent for the second time this year and third time overall (1994 included) that Harold Camping the prophet was a fraud. He inaccurately date-setted the Rapture TWICE this year. According to the Bible, he should be stoned as a False Prophet. But one day Camping will be judged by God regardless. Like many others watching the signs of the times, Camping should recognize the approach of the taking away of the Church and the Holy Spirit from this world. But no date is set; in fact, the Bible says no man knows the day nor hour, not even the Son, but the Father alone. So Camping blew-it again. However, one positive effect is that he is still fulfilling prophecy as the Bible says in the last days many will scoff at the prophesies and say "where is the sign of His coming?" This was written in the first century AD- long before 1988, 1994, and 2011. IF Camping is a true believer (born again), he will indeed be taken as promised but will have to answer for these false prophecies. I would hate to be in his place unless he repents sincerely. Also, he lacks knowledge of true prophecy as the Rapture event does not signal the end of the world at all, neither does Armageddon. The Rapture signals the end of the Church Age, salvation, and grace. Those living afterwards, left behind, will have to live their faith as in O/T times under the Father when the world is being judged for 7 years leading up to a show-down at Armageddon between the Antichrist, world powers, and Jesus returning with the Heavenly Host and all of His saints. Afterwards is Christ's Millenial Rule in Jerusalem and then one final failed battle, the judging of all the evil dead plus Satan and his angels at the Great White Throne, and the creation of new heavens and a new earth with New Jerusalem as world capital.
