What is there to say other than I AM a devoted fan of Stephania Giovanna Angelina Germanotta (aka "The Germinator", "Electro-Pop Princess, and Lady GaGa)??? Most people make comparisons to Madonna, but as a once hardcore M fan, the only real similarities are Italian heritage and NY; other than that, Lady GaGa has accomplished more in 3 years than Madonna accomplished in a decade. And while Madonna had to re-invent herself over the decades and slink down to new levels of shock value for revenue, Lady GaGa is just being herself and takes great pride in loving her fans and standing up for everyone that is unwanted and abused in this life, not just for Gays and Lesbians, Bis and Transgender people. She has tremendous strength of the heart and incredible energy. She is awe-inspiring with the power of her presence, but to meet her in person is to meet someone who prays to the Lord and cries, feels defeated, is conflicted by faith vs flesh. That is her struggle, but she has put it to song and is herself at all times, not an image. Madonna is fake, plastic by comparison and a cold-calculating business woman. Lady GaGa is Mother Monster that loves all of her Little Monsters. I love her for that. She's not a sell-out and will not be forced out. As for longevity, I cannot say... but she's already racking up many Top 10s and Number 1s, sold over 25 million albums, over 60 million singles, 1 billion hits on You Tube that put her in the Guinness, and her openess about her sexuality and her demons like cocaine means that she is transparent. She is the real thing and that's better than an image change every couple years to her fans. She is adored by many...
