Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"New Film Defies Review"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

The new film "Under the Skin" is a visual type with very little dialogue. Scarlett Johansson is an alien that views humanity through acquired human tissue of unsuspecting single men lured to her home portal. She has a handler on a bike that procures her initial body to replicate, but nothing thereafter is explained. The audience in rapt attention follows her experiences and POV to exhaustion and a very questionable ending!!! Still, **** for originality and Johansson's performance naked most of the time.
New film defies review
Critics chime

SPFX and score are cool
Beginning eerie
Other scenes dreary

Johansson handled it
Performance was sound
And she did scenes naked
Portal and black pool took poor John's down

(Implosion gutted, didn't drown)

New Film defies review
The critics chime
This time

Guys were screwed
Skins abused
Were reused
Aliens learned nothing
They were unaware
Of lethality
FIRE- consuming

(Were unassuming)

Mystery
New film defies review
The critics chime
(Visual odyssey )

I usually bypass your Spells, Rob, but in this case I love really weird movies! Gotta see this one, so high 5s

If Scarlett was nude in it, I need to check it out :)

Michel Faber wrote the book in 2000, but it was not taken up as a movie project until 2004 and then took a decade to reach the cinema. The director chopped two-thirds of the script and essentially made a different version based on his vision of nearly silent sci-fi. He David Lynched it IMO! Dvd set for July 15th release in United States. My advice is read the book first or else you'll have no clue what's going on in the picture, although they are almost two different works altogether.
