The Israeli IDF CAT D9R Doobi (Teddy Bear) is a massive armored bulldozer that is used to clear the path for IDF AFVs, build berms for tanks, smash through structures and walls to combat enemies, and is almost invincible to small arms fire, RPGs, bombs, IEDs, and even belly AT weapons with 1 ton warheads!!! It can sweep IEDs aside or detonate them with total immunity and can even rescue a stranded Merkava tank (up to 68 tons) when a recovery vehicle is not around. The armored dozer project started in the 1950s and with each successive model used in every Arab-Israeli war, the Intifahdas, and the Lebanon wars... they bulked up adding bulletproof glass to the tower and 15 tons of modular armor to the structure. The Palis fear what they call "Black Thunder" as the Doobis have been used to destroy Pali suicide bomber housing, Pali structures concealing tunnels, and Pali strongholds.
