Haw. Syncronicity again. I just wrote one about this subject last night.

Tee hee... the punchline made me laugh out loud, literally :-)

Thanks, Rick and Philbo. So, Rick, you and I once again find ourselves in the Amiright Parody Space-Time-Out-Of-Our-Minds-Nexus again, eh? Appropriate that it would occur during this Space Odyssey. Phil, I'm happy to hear that! The original song's format is "quiet/LOUD-quiet/LOUD-quiet/LOUD", so it fits-in with the theme of speaking softly, speaking softly, speaking softly.....then....SCREAMIN' YOUR BLOODY 'EAD OFF AT THOSE BLEEDIN' TELEMARKETERS.

What I usually do is tell them "Hold on! I have something in the oven! Be right back!" And then leave the phone there with an occasional "Don't Go away" until they get sick of me.

This comment that you made....."The original song's format is "quiet/LOUD-quiet/LOUD-quiet/LOUD", so it fits-in with the theme of speaking softly, speaking softly, speaking softly.....then....SCREAMIN' YOUR BLOODY 'EAD OFF AT THOSE BLEEDIN' TELEMARKETERS...." makes me wish I could do the same thing to ads on t.v. I usually have the sound just right and these ads come on, blasting me out of my chair. Good one, Johnny! 5's

Thanks Adagio and Alvin. "Levi Strauss" ? Alvin, maybe you could write "Lord of The Pants" !

The idea is a bit of a stretch, but I'm fully in support of the subject matter. Nice one, JD.

Thank you, 2nz.

Thank you, Sweet Indigo! Your comment reminds us all that size doesn't always matter! ;-)

I'm a classical music buff, so parodies of those tunes (if the original work is well-known) are a pleasant surprise for me. Triple 5's!
