Santana winds blow every trash day -
Flotsam and jetsam and junk galore.
Those dirty diapers litter my parkway -
The neighbors' trash up 'gainst my door.

Now it is soaring up into the sky.
Oh, the garbage cans keep rolling down the gutter -
When desert winds blow so high.

Those plastic turds drift by my window -
Just like a snowstorm of ghostly stool.
It dusts my lawn and gets in the tree bough -
And clogs the skimmer in the pool.
The cacophony begins at dawn -
After the howling winds blew all night long.
And I lie awake all night wearing my walkman -
When garbage cans roll along.
