Original Song Title:

"L-O-V-E"

Original Performer:

Nat King Cole

Parody Song Title:

"L-O-V-E"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

L is for scoutmaster lechery,
O’s for overseeing’s vacancy,
V’s for very, very fond of great secrecy,
E’s for every poor kid who’s been raped and even more. This

Love is all wrong and very askew
’mongst the Scouting pedophilia crew.
Among trees and glades the
thoughts are turning very shady
“Loving” of boys then ensues.

L was for the ’tude of “let it be,”
O was open up the secrecy,
V was very scaring, what the press was baring
E, the evil force that lurks behind those Texas doors. This

“Love” of boys the leaders let ’em do.
Love hid till press off the cover blew.
Brave, rev’rent, and thrifty
are some bromides, but the shifty
“love,” nonetheless, still ain’t through.
