Mountain Lisa, Mountain Lisa is my trail muse.
She’s is sprightly, lithe, and can hike miles and miles.
When she’s roaming, in she’s homing on those trail views
seen by Mountain Lisa in Map My Hike trials.

She notes, "trial" can be worked over; Mountain Lisa
says that i and a can each play different parts.
We have seen when we’ve taken one more step:
put the i there, give a i’s share,
and then "trail" is revealed; Mountain Lisa
is on a roll, extolling orthographic art.

For a while we’re under cover; Mountain Lisa
sings to us virtues of arboreal art.
We’re at ease, not ready for one more schlep:
one wimp cries there, gets an eyes stare.
There a warning to heed; Mountain Lisa
commands, “Let’s roll! I’m cold!! I’ll hold no poles; let’s start!!!”
