Parody Song Title:

"Ruminants Also, Reindeer"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

They are gnashin’ teeth, noshin’
and digestin’ often.
They don’t vomit post-chewing
their silage that softens
as it waterfalls
through those stomachs
with help from gall.

Ruminants also, reindeer,
and they have ungulate toes.
One is Santa’s sleigh’s drawer;
one has a slobbery nose.

Cows are milked; so are reindeer
for a Finnish cheese that’s famed.
A less common ruminant,
the reindeer—not quite as tame.

They show up on Christmas eve,
pulling Santa’s sleigh.
There’s a glass of milk so white
for Santa…bovine delight.

Santa milks the ruminants
up in his North Pole aerie.
Grooves on the milk of reindeer…
too cold there for old Bossie.
