Parody Song Title:

"The Nastiest, Anthem"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Oh, say, do they fleece,
as they con girls and guys.
They’d make proud men who’re made;
a price-hike type, ass-reaming.
Our dough’s swiped; the blight starts
with perjurious lies.
Yes, these rapacious frauds
are just ghastly thieves scheming.
Then our pockets picked bare
by cons, worst anywhere. . .
take loot day and night;
they’ve cached swag everywhere.
Oh, say, are these large-bankroll
scammers depraved!
From Anthem we need be freed,
or our dough won’t be saved.

'And the rockets flew up our derrieres!!!" Well shot!

So well rhymed that if a person doesn't pay attention, they'd SWEAR it was the national anthem. And they're words that make sense. :D

That's one more naughty parody of the national anthem. During the Contra hearings, Dr. Demento received a cassette wrapped in a plastic flag. It was a single voice singing a cappella, "Oh say can you see by Ollie's delight....".

Thanks, all. Not mentioned in the parody: the parent company of this particular brand of Golden State thieves raked in $4.7 billion in profits last year. Their greatest skill is in performing cashectomies on their customers.

Am I the only one to point out the brilliance of the original artist on this one. Rosanne's was the worst but I agree with you there John, there has been many, many bad sings attempting to sing this song.

Just a hunch that not much dough will be saved by the Fed, either... but a very fine parody! Take 555 mg of praise, and call us in the morning. ;)
