The Lyrics

Payin' my dues here... It seems a parody of this song is a prerequisite to "fool" membership. Here's my sick take. Forgive if I was not perfectly true to OS, I only know parts of it.
WenttoERYesterdayfromEatingToxicBlowfish

wenttoERyesterdayfromeatingtoxicblowfish.
Doctor did a stomach check, spoke to me rather roguish.
"You have only got the flu: my final diagnosis.
Go home, take these pills, call me if you get halitosis."

Tum tummy tummy tum tum tummy tie

Here's the story 'bout my day, the one when I turned green.
Went to Ja-pa-nese rest'rant, 'twas one I'd never seen.
When I asked for blowfish they just laughed behind the screen,
"Gaijin* wants to take a chance, let's really make a scene."

Yum yummy yummy yum yum me oh my

Went home, took the medicine, next day felt so atrocious.
Breath was stinky more like fish than fragrant like a rose is.
Doctor did more tests, announced, "It's liver cirr(a)hosis.
Go home, take more pills, don't drink, you'll soon not feel ferocious."

Dumb dummy dummy dumb dummy am I

Moral of this little tale is very plain to me
Next time' you eat at a rest'rant, no puffer from the sea !
Put' your money in the jukebox, no de-li'-ca-cy.
You will get good Hootie Blowfish, not some bad sushi.
* Gaijin: Japanese for "foreigner," pronounced guy-jeen

Hey, what;s wrong with being green? You bigoted against green bein's or sumpin'?
"cirr(a)hosis" - passed your Poetic License exam; last two lines "jukebox" - huh? what??? -- "Hootie" -- Ohhhh!" - definitely qualify you as "fool", anyway.; "member", methinks, at least, though don't think I'd blow your raw fish, or even your tail, after this fish tale. 555

I believe you'll get dinged for not having a final chorus, but not by me. . .5s.

Thankyoukindlygentlemenyourcommentsidocherish. Writing par-o-dies is a tough job, it’s really bear-ish. Flaunting one’s own stuff out here might be considered garish But my real life’s such a dull one; got to have some flair-ish.

I'm not a fish person anyway, thanks for the warnings.

555, the thing about fugu(blowfish) is that you would be lucky to survive it. It's thousands of times more deadly than cianide. Good job on this parody, very good.

What an original and "hooky" parody!

Well, I hate to be the bad man here but I dinged you for not having the final chorus and a few other parts, though few include the spoken bit. Tough love, but a 454 is better than blowfish poisoning.
