Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

What if we went out and done what inspirational songs tell us to..?
When I walked through a storm
And held my chin up high,
I just got a face full of rain...

At the end of the storm,
Grabbed a towel to dry
Glad that lightning had missed
My neck chain...

I walked on through the wind
I walked on through the rain,
Like some nut case
Who was stoned...

I walked on, I walked on
Just wanting to choke
The guy who wrote this song..
The guy who wrote...this...song !

AFW - I was just singin' this in the rain...almost drowned on some of the extended notes that you have to hold...too long with my face up and mouth wide open...not that I don't do that when I'm not singing, though...5's ~ ~ ~

Similar things have happened to me as I tried to do what songs tell me; I already know how to be lonely, so there's no need to learn it; I was taken to the psycho ward for walking down the street, snapping my fingers and shuffling my feet and singing "do wa diddy"; and of course the heart will "go on"; what were some of these lyricists thinking?

You took a beautiful song with some very inspirational symbolism and ruined it... Great job, 5s.
