There's just one place in Gotham where criminals get sent
Because they're not of sane mind so that should be fixed
But that Arkham Asylum has never done that job
Just keeps the villains locked up for 'bout ten minutes, tops

The inmates are all crazy to start with or because
The real nutballs get joy from drivin' sane men nuts
So if you're banally evil, it's not smart to lie
And claim that you're really bonkers, just go ask Warren White

Why not a standard prison with those basic borin' bars?
"For rehabilitation" And how's that worked so far?
Well, the closest I can think of is Miss Quinzel, Harleen
Even then, she's pretty loopy and "hero"'s a stretch, please

I don't think that they're gonna change it though folks mock it all the time
Because a switch-up to the status quo won't last, that's right
That Arkham Asylum is sadly gonna stay
With its walls as strong as cardboard, lets foes loose all day
