Parody Song Title:

"Great Wall Of China"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

Four thousand miles, down by Beijing it runs
That big stone fence, used to keep out Huns
So thick and deep, so high and steep
Goodness gracious, Great Wall Of China!

Built long ago, took a long time to do it
Magician Dave Copperfield walked through it
Dynasty Ming, it was their thing,
Big and spacious, Great Wall Of China!

One worldly wonder, woo-oo...and so strong...
just fly there, take a tour,
Hey, bring your camera and some film along
It winds, inclines,
You'll see some sights, blow your minds, minds, mi-inds

Old legends here, say that when Meng Jiangnu
Cried at the wall, partly collapsed it, too
In construction, she lost her husband,
Goodness gracious, Great Wall Of China!

(guitar solo)

One worldly wonder, woo-ooo...and so strong..
Just fly there, take the tour
Yeah, bring your camera, and some film along
It winds, inclines,
You'll see some crazy sights,
To blow your minds, minds, mi-inds

Old legends here, say that once Meng Jiangnu
Cried at the wall, and then collapsed it, too
It's construction, had killed her husband,
Goodness gracious, Great Wall Of China

(guitar solo)

(Piano solo)

(guitar and piano solo)

It's really spacious Great Wall Of China!.....ooooh....

I thought it was built to keep out the Mongols, not the Huns (I know, Mongols is harder to rhyme), but this is still a very good parody with a very clever title.

Thanks, John..Historians probably disagree on this... one website I researched, stated that, at least, part of the wall was built to keep out the Huns...

Already the title alone made me think: Geez, I wish I'd thought of that one! :-)
