Parody Song Title:

"A Maze to Race"

Parody Written by:

Susanna Viljanen

The Lyrics

Now who took away the cheese?
A maze to race, I must go through
Now who took away the cheese?
It's now pointless task for me to do
So put it back, oh please!

All mice in this race, we are now lost
We can't find our way to goal
It's frustrating task to find our way
and we cannot hope for gold

A mouse can go craz' if she can't find
her way through the maze for cheese
She's lost and afraid, confused and stunned -
So put back that cheese, oh please

well, I can tell you worked hard on this one, and the force rhyme is always a plus, but when you have to distort sentence structure to fit the rhyme in, you've gone too far. I think it would be a great performance for a female vocal standards singer, if she sounded serious enough. This "cheesy" song could have some potential, just reform the sentence structure. I love your idea!

I liked this very much. My mouse had no problem finding the dots to vote.

This is a clever parody, but I would like it better if you had attributed it (to John Newton).
