The Lyrics

Sorry guys, the full title is supposed to be "This Song is Very Fast and So It's Very Hard to Parody," but it wouldn't all fit in the form box (no surprise there). This song is just intended to be nonsensical lyrics that have nothing to do with anything.
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody
But I'll attempt the challenge of a very good amphigory
And if I struggle through this song, I'll just say "Dee dee dee dee dee"
I doubt that I will do that 'cause it should be easy lyrically

Oh, all you have to do is write a line with sixteen syllables
And if you cannot do that, then I guess you're very gullible
But make sure that your parody includes the rightful emphasis
Or else the folks at Amiright will think your song is ludicrous

Or else the folks at Amiright will think your song is ludicrous
Or else the folks at Amiright will think your song is ludicrous
Or else the folks at Amiright will think your song is ludicrous

I'll use a clip from Amazon to help me synch my parody
And if I cannot do that, then I hope I'm not in jeopardy
In short, I've gotta write a big, intelligent amphigory
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

In short, he's gotta write a big, intelligent amphigory
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

The backing verse was missing and I had to search on Amiright
Because I had the feeling that the par'dy wasn't synching right
I added in the backing verse and now my send-up synchs all right
And I can't wait for everyone for read this song on Amiright

Is this verse the only verse that has more than sixteen syllables?
If I do more than sixteen, I will think this song's ridiculous
The tempo's 'bout two sixty-one, this tempo's quite riconculous
That word is quite a recent term, Zakk Wylde holds the patent for

That word is quite a recent term, Zakk Wylde holds the patent for

How many parodies will make original unbearable?
Like "Supercalifragilisticexpialido-cee-ous"
I'm running out of words that kinda-sorta rhyme with "parody"
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

He's running out of words that kinda-sorta rhyme with "parody"
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

In fact, what other lyric could I use that's sixten syllables?
"I need to buy a liver for the hungry Dr. Hannibal"?
Just interrupt this parody if it has grown unbearable
When eating up a clown, what words are uttered by a cannibal?

And I think the definitive James Bond must be Sean Connery,
Too bad I didn't know that nothing ever rhymes with "Connery"
Well no, I'll take it back -- the only word I know is "ornery"
I guess I better end this line the way it started -- Connery

He says he better end that line the way it started -- Connery
He says he better end that line the way it started -- Connery
I really don't believe that this next line should start repeated more

Well I found another line, number of syllables is seventeen
I really, really see that it's impossible to parody
I cannot find another word that kinda rhymes with "parody"
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

He cannot find another word that kinda rhymes with "parody"
This song is very fast and so it's very hard to parody

delightfully goofy

I read it too damned fast and so, it's very hard to vote on it. JK, good job with what, I would imagine, is a difficult OS to parody. 555

whimsically witty.... and laced with more than a bit of truth... having done one my self on the sixteenth or ninteenth? of the month, I found myself in your very big shoes! 5's

i liked it. especially this verse. And I think the definitive James Bond must be Sean Connery, Too bad I didn't know that nothing ever rhymes with "Connery" Well no, I'll take it back -- the only word I know is "ornery" I guess I better end this line the way it started -- Connery very random which makes it funny, and its true, he is the best bond. and the last line works well even tho its nothing new.

DKTOS, but I found it to be very clever, so you've got yourself some 5s. I don't think I'd ever want to do a parody to this song, I've parodied easier ones that have racked my mind getting all the lyrics I wanted.

I had to dock you a bit, Chris, because of the iffy rhyme scheme in places, but I echo your sentiments. Believe me, I've been there, and writing a song in iambic octameter is NOT easy!

One of the funniest parodies to this song I've read, many good lines, fives

Every line has 16 syllables, save the last line of the triple repeat choruses which has 18. I've done this OS 4 times, and the hardest part for me is where they slow down the tempo for two verses.

i know the basics of the song but not the temps.

Silly, yet wonderful :D (I discovered I'd finally gone mad when I found myself desperately trying to fit "Major General" to the tune of the "matter patter" from Ruddigore...)
