The Lyrics

Beautiful color,
A big ass gas tank...

I'm out here drivin', The Continental
It's not a rental, I bought the damn thing!
Watch out, a puddle! rain's been torrent'l
Hey, babe, let's cuddle, I feel like a king!

All cars it's passin', The Continental
Big wheels are dancin'..out on this Interstate
I'm really gassin' The Continental
Cost me an arm and a leg, but it's great!

Speed limit sign says sixty-five
I don't heed, I just drive..

Swervin' and swayin' The Continental
My baby's sayin'..I, and this car are fine
At her I'm glancin'..The Continental
Begins to wander all over the line..

Hot kiss while I'm drivin'
(Sniffy: That's a bad idea. (spoken))
The Continental, hmmmmm, not cruisin' gentle
Our kiss gets entrancin'
Siren's not gentle, I think it's mental,

Until a trooper taps my arm..
He said, "Your car don't glide with too much grace & charm"

Had to show him my license
And then I flunked that little toe/heel stroll
He towed my Lincoln, and he jailed my soul
Next day light breakfast, a Continental..and one big fine

I thought this was going to be about Continental Airlines. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Liked the way at the end you sneaked in a second meaning for the word. Fred Astaire and Matthias gave two more, all from the days we envied Europe.

Aaah... the perils of a mid-life crisis - sounds like the hero of this parody learned the hard way! Top job AFW - a full tank of 555s for you.

Great job... a friend of mine owns a Lincoln Continental Mark 5 that costs her an arm and a leg as far as buying gas and speeding tickets go, but she inherited it, so it didn't cost her there. Great use of Continental breakfast too, I remember writing an essay about them in school. 5s.
