Parody Song Title:

"Romney-Ryan"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

You didn't think I was going to let such a filthy choice go, did you?
(instrumental opening)

Romney-Ryan.
Romney-Ryan.
They go together like a pain and cryin'.
This I tell you, brother:
You can't trust one or the other.

Romney-Ryan.
Romney-Ryan.
Our Medicare they'd like to be fryin'.
Ask an old Floridian:
They'll kick 'em across the meridian.

Tried, tried, tried their way, it's a delusion.
Why, why, why accept another contusion?

Romney-Ryan.
Romney-Ryan.
You say they'll help the middle class, you're lyin'!
Go to polls, don't stutter:
Don't let them hurt
Don't let them hurt
Don't let them hurt
your grandmother!

It won't be Romney or Ryan who cut Medicare, it will be the Chinese. How long do you think they will continue to support our aging population, along with the half of Mexico who came north across the Rio Grande? By the way, the "lock box" Al Gore spoke of does exist. One of the TV networks found it. It's a large file cabinet in a strip mall in Maryland. Full of IOU's from the people who stole the supposedly dedicated funds, and used them to start two unwinnable wars and fund a million other forms of nonsense.

Face it, Mike: it's time you retired. China's pulling out of our stock market, public pensions are all headed for bankruptcy, and unemployment is worse than ever under your failed Messiah. Blue America will soon be in a museum next to National Socialist Germany and the Soviet Union.

Mikey! -- Romney annoys me so much that I was about ready to endorse Obama, but a few more of your parodies and you might push me right back over the line... ;)

Glad to see you writing again though. Hope you'll keep contributing. :)

Have you ever even READ the Constitution?
Patrick - August 16, 2012 - Report this comment
I have read it. The federal government is empowered to recruit an army, build a navy, build roads to carry the mail, negotiate with foreign nations and domestic (Native American) tribes. It can pass uniform bankruptcy laws, establish a system of weights and measures, and secure the rights of authors and inventors via copyright and patent laws. It conducts a census every ten years to apportion representatives. It is supposed to establish a stable currency and punish counterfeiters. (Congress, not the unconstitutional Federal Reserve). Congress is supposed to have the exclusive power to declare war. Thousands have died in wars since the last time Congress exercised that power, before conceding it (unconstitutionally) to the president. Except for a little tweaking, most of this should have been accomplished by the end of George Washington's first term. There is nothing about retirement plans, medical treatment, education, subsidies to banks, car manufacturers, or any other business. The only licensing authority the federal government possesses is to license private ship owners to serve as naval auxiliaries in times of declared war. This was to avoid international sanctions against piracy. There are not a lot of grey areas. Read it again, the powers are few and very specific. And barring emergencies, should be a matter of routine (copyrights) or rare (calling out the militia).
