The Lyrics

Famed comedian, George Carlin died June 22..
He was comedy, George Carlin,
He had a different brand of stand up style
His dirty words of "Seven"
Disturbed merchants of Heaven,
A rebel and a hippie, who could give the world a smile
By Richard Pryor stands Geroge Carlin
And Lennie Bruce, up at the top he'll soar
George had a great routine,
Cool, edgy, sharp, and keen
His mastery, we'll never see no more..

Told jokes magically, George Carlin
The Indian Sergeant,("You wit beads..get out!")
DJ, (Wonderful WINO)
We'd howl at every line, oh
The "hippie-dippie weatherman, a classic bit, no doubt
A humor Icon was George Carlin
He spun a different take on everything, (everything)
Spread fun philosophy
Mixed in controversy,
Of comedy, he'll always be a king

Of comedy, he'll always be a king

I used to say George was the funniest man alive. I guess I can't say that anymore. I just hope, for all the jokes and comments George made about Him, that God has a sense of humor.

One of the greats, I was truly sad to hear he passed away. A fitting trubute.

The King of Edge, may he rest in a heavenly humor ! Thank you, Sir, for this fine tribute to a Gent that was always superb on Carson's Tonight Show! He shall be missed . . .

I saw him at the Orleans earlier in June and he looked and sounded great. His passing was indeed a shock

Farce - Fine tribute to a great man. I knew I'd see you eugogise him in parody but I only heard the news at 5:00AM this morning. You got this out very fast. I figured it would hit the board tomorrow. Great job of blasting this tribute out. How many euglogies does this make for you now? You are indeed this site's premier eulogy praiser. You do this so well. Thanks for doing this. I really think it is great that you do this thing.

I found George Carlin to be one of the funniest, wittiest people to grace the entertainment industry. I loved his humor. It may have been the slight bit of sarcasm that he displayed as seasoning and puncuation to his point. Anyway, I will be one of many many who will miss him.

Since no one has commented on this fact about George Carlin, I will. My source is Fox News - Fox and Friends morning show. They related this morning that George Carlin was the very first host on Saturday Night L:ive. I cannot attest to this fact from memory because I was over-seas when SNL started up and we had no American TV at all for those three years that I served overseas. Excellent write, Farce.

We didn't even know he did recently. Thanks for telling us. He liked his work though. But the one comedian who really deserves a tribute song is Rodney Dangerfield. Rodney was awesome. And also why hasn't anyone on here written about Bill Hicks?
