The Lyrics

Donald Trump's campaign recently tweeted a promotional photo of The Donald standing in front of an American flag, with camouflaged soldiers in the background. The only problem: the soldiers weren't American. They were wearing Waffen-SS uniforms. The tweet was eventually deleted and the intern responsible for it was fired from the campaign.
Oh say did you see, Donald Trump's latest tweet
What so proudly he grins while Old Glory stands waving
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, shine on soldiers at war
Poor poor intern at fault; his career there's no saving

'Cause those men standing tall, were not Yankees at all
Their garb was SS, they served Adolf "One-Ball"
Oh say do those star-spangled Nazis debase
That toupeed, loud-mouthed tycoon, with the egg on his face

Hadn't heard that one.. is there any indication as to whether the intern was intentionally trying to sabotage Trump's campaign, or whether he was just another chump who used google images without checking? But a very good write on (yet another) embarrassment to the Overcombed (wannabe) Overlord

Good one, Hu. I got another, similar gaffe for you. At a DNC convention to honor US Navy veterans back in 2012, the DNC displayed images of Russian Baltic Fleet ships. Remember how the networks and CNN relished that one and just kept doing one story after another about it? I dont either ....... But what an opportunity for a hilarious parody. Here, I'll get you started -- My eyes have seen the glory of the Soviet Baltic Fleet

You'd think it would be a lot easier to find pictures of US troops than Nazi SS. Maybe the Donald could spin this as a reflection of the shocking state of public school education. I would perform this to the tune of "To Anacreon In Heaven", Like the "Adolf One-Ball" reference, too.

Hu, I know you are trying to be funny, so 555 on the parody but the Hitler one ball myth is false. On October 7, 1916 Hitler was injured by shrapnel in the LEG, not the groin! This was verified by his unit and hospital records. Other myths that are false:
1) Hitler with French prostitutes during WW1. No, spent time in trenches reading or playing with his dog Fuchsl
2) Had Golden showers on Thursdays. Schedule discounts this and he was with Eva already
3) Hitler had sex with clothes on. From Eva Braun statement that his schedule was so demanding that he had sex sometimes half dressed or had to change in a hurry
4) Hitler was a vegetarian. No, his doctor and Eva stated that Hitler ate meat on occasion but due to stomach disorder preferred soups and light pasta as verified by his female cooking staff.
5) Hitler loved his niece and that caused her suicide or murder. No proof at all.

All that is true is that Hitler was an addict who took 74 medications. He liked methamphetamines Pervitin and also Eukodal. And, he loved his German Shepherd Blondi more than Eva!!!

Regarding Trump's ad, he got wrong stock footage of soldiers: http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2292172.1436904790!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_635/nazi15n-4-web.jpg

I wonder if Trump will demand that the Republicans move the site of their 2016 Convention. Luckily for him, Hertha Berlin aren't in the Champions League, so the Olympiastadion should be available.

LOL with that last line. A NY Daily News letter to the editor recently made a Trump-Hitler comparison. I wonder if SS troops behind Trump's ol' face was one of God's little jokes--or warnings. 555!

Here's the letter, from Sunday, July 12, 2015, New York Daily News: Trump, that is Little Egg Harbor, N.J.: I remember my father telling me about a politician who promised the people that he would deal with the “problem” of immigrants by expelling all those who were not citizens according to the law. He also appealed to the people by improving the economy at a time when most people were out of work. It was said that he had the courage to say what many other people were thinking, but were afraid to say aloud. Coincidentally, he also had a terrible comb-over. His name? Adolf Hitler. It could never happen here? Think again! Bentley Gubar http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/july-12-bike-menace-cuban-compromise-word-bigot-article-1.2288553
