Parody Song Title:

"(Night Of The) Living Dolls"

The Lyrics

Track #2 in my hopefully soon to be released Halloween parody album "Boo! It's Halloween Witch!". This parody is based off of the classic slasher Chucky from the Child's Play movies.
Chorus: Looking at a screaming, killing, stabbing, chilling living doll
Got to do my best to survive, scared cuz he’s a living doll
Got a butcher’s knife and that is why he terrifies me so
Got to run away from killing, chilling living dolls

Verse 1: Well run as fast as you can, will do
And if you won’t just heed what I say, you’re through
Gonna hide myself in my room
‘Til a big boom comes a crashing through the door

Chorus: Staring at two evil, vicious, bad, malicious living dolls
Wonder if I may be dreaming, just cuz they’re two living dolls
Got a Tommy gun, so I will run, this night’s not fun for me
Try to kill the only wicked, sickened living dolls

[Instrumental Break]

Verse 2: They stabbed my friend with a pen, how gross!
I wonder if they have a weakness, who knows?
Try to lock them up in a trunk
And get it sunk down by the river tonight

Chorus: Got a prob with lying, cheating, vile, beating living dolls
Thinkin’ that I am really screwed, just cuz of those living dolls
Got a little rope, that helps me cope, although no hope is clear
Got murdered by the two killing, chilling living dolls

Good one.

I love Chucky! Well, I like the first "Child's Play" the sequel was pretty awful and the rest were completely terrible but the first one was good.

Hilarious, especially in counterpoint to the corny nature of this OS. You excecuted (harhar) the concept through to a inevitable but funny conclusion.

(Artistry) Never saw the Chucky movies, so "killing living dolls" made me think of the FemBots from Austin Powers. But your parody teaches a good lesson - stay away from dummies.

(Artistry) Never seen Chucky (or any horror film, for that matter), but I still enjoyed this immensely, though the version of this song with the Young Ones is just slightly funnier (though that's because of my aforementioned lack of film-seeing and love of the TV show). 555!

This. . .is a strange original. I love Chucky and find the series hilarious. The parody didn't give you a lot of room to work with, but you really did a lot with the space. I'm not sure why you mention "verse" or "chorus" in your song, but that's not being held against you, I'm just curious as to why you do it. Matty of course they were awful, but that's whats so great about them-just like the sequels to Friday the 13th, Scream, Final Destination, Halloween, Chainsaw Massacre, etc--they become funny instead of scary and as such are just fun to watch, as long as you don't expect to be scared. All in all Blayde, simple as this was--I loved it, a classic if I might say so from you considering you really had nothing at all from the original to work with and the timing and all--can't say much else great work

Well Dave, I've always seperated my songs by section for as long as I can remember. It's mostly for me I guess. It helps me breakdown a song into parts and being able to focus on one part at a time and later coming back to tie it all togethr. It's also for conversational reasons. If you wanted to describe a specific part of this parody you could say, "I particularly liked verse 1." or "Verse 3 got a little sloppy." It's just a way for me to simplify things.
