The Lyrics

And to think, this mental acrobat is from New Jersey -- Moorestown, on the Philadelphia side of the State. She went to Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, on the New York side, which is sometimes nicknamed "Fairly Ridiculous," a nickname that long precedes her, but, trust me, she's not helping. I said when she was nominated that all her Democratic opponent, Chris Coons, needed to win was for someone to show some of her appearances on "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher" in the 1990s, when she said some insane things about then-President Bill Clinton and other liberals. Turns out I was right, but I must've missed it the night she talked about how she "experimented in college" -- not with drugs, drinking or homosexuality, but with... witchcraft? Jerry Falwell just turned over in his grave! Or was it the still-living (last I checked) Pat Robertson who was obsessed with witchcraft?
Well, they'll be mockin' in Boston.
Pittsburgh P-A.
Maybe not in Texas
but 'round the Frisco Bay.
All over St. Louis
and down in New Orleans
all the cats tellin' jokes 'bout
sweet little Christine.

Sweet little Christine
she went way too far
on TV show of
ABC's Bill Maher.
She talked about the witchcraft
while she's at FDU.
But didn't like FDR
and you know that's true.

Oh, Mommy, Mommy?
Please may I touch?
Mommy says, Oh, no, dear
Christine says it's too much!

Oh, Daddy, Daddy
I beg of you
don't vote for Christine
or our land is through!

'Cause they'll be suff'rin' in Delaware
near Philadelphia P-A.
On the streets of Wil-ming-ton.
And Lewes by the Bay.
All over Rehoboth
they think she's dumb and mean.
All the cats wanna forget
sweet little Christine.

(guitar break)

'Cause they'll be suff'rin' in Delaware
near Philadelphia P-A.
On the streets of Wil-ming-ton.
And Lewes by the Bay.
All over Rehoboth
they think she's dumb and mean.
All the cats wanna forget
sweet little Christine.

Sweet little Christine
she's got the grownup blues.
Tight dresses and lipstick.
Thinks she's in Palin's shoes.
But tomorrow morning
she'll have to change her sked.
Because sweet Christine's
campaign will soon be dead.

'Cause they'll be mockin' in Boston.
Pittsburgh P-A.
Maybe not in Texas
but 'round the Frisco Bay.
All over St. Louis
and down in New Orleans
all the cats tellin' jokes 'bout
sweet little Christine.

While in no way comparing the two, I recall that Benjamin Franklin once attended the "rites" of Sir Francis Dashwood's infamous Hellfire Club. If only she'd chosen another of Franklin's activities...like flying a kite in the middle of a thunderstorm! Even Karl Rove is shaking his head...but not at this nicely done parody. ;D

Are you suggesting she "Go fly a kite"? I'd rather she emulated John Quincy Adams: "Go jump in the lake!" In her case, though, fully clothed.

Great bash, Michael! "Casting" you a spell of fives...

Most politicians these days are dabbling in some form of voodoo, casting spells and trying to hypnotize voters. I worry less about those who try to conjure demons, than those who believe they can create money out of thin, polluted air.

ZERO!

Mel, there's a reason you didn't stick with the Yankees until the winning started again, and the kid you tormented, Bernie Williams, became one of the reasons the winning started again. Really, I understand if a conservative triple-ones my political parodies, but this isn't even about baseball! Even if Christine is a screwball -- and, by Election Day, a slider.

Real conservatives (and real men) don't one bomb. Case in point...Orin Hatch and Edward Kennedy. I'm not sarcastic (I'm in the Hall Of Fame for that) when I call you the Senator from New York. Sometimes your (ideological) opponents are more admirable than your friends. And there is much to appreciate in you...even though in Kentucky the word "Yankee" is often proceeded with the word "Damned"! I mean that in the baseball sense...lol. :D
