The Lyrics

Yep, this is the time of year when people start writing more Christmas parodies. Naturally, I decided to board the good ol' bandwagon. I knew a few from when I was in elementary school, as some kids would sing these, so it was about time I dug 'em back up & submitted 'em. Actually, this one I heard on a Futurama commercial, & I elaborated upon it a bit. Merry Christmas, everyone! Feliz Navidad! Joyeux Noël! С Рождеством Христовым!
You better watch out,
You better run fast,
You better duck down,
I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is gunning you down!

He's making a list,
He's checking it twice,
He's gonna shoot up
Who's naughty, not nice.
Santa Claus is gunning you down!

He'll check to see you're sleeping,
He'll shoot if you're awake.
He'll shoot if you've been bad, not good,
So be good for Walther's sake.

Oh, you better watch out,
You better run fast,
You better duck down,
I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is gunning you down!
Santa Claus is gunning you down!

The futurama parody by the same name is a lot funnier than this. The rhyming in the chorus isnt rhythmic at all, and the entire rhyme sounds childish at best. I'm gonna agree with brent, a young child could have made a better parody than this.

Not bad, some spots are a little rough but overall a nice job. I have no idea what the problem is with some of these other posters.

Pretty funny overall, but I don't get the rythm of the third paragraph. I can tell that the last 2 lines of the third paragraph are different from the rest, so how does it sound like?
