Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Doughboy!"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Am I the only one who thinks that the Doughboy can't be as happy as he appears to be? Could he have an alterior motive?
One part insane
Add two parts evil
His plan is to fatten people
Doughboy! Of Pillsbury,
Doughboy, with low self-esteem, wants you to be obsese

He'll lure you in
With his giggle
But soon he'll watch your belly jiggle
Doughboy! Of Pillsbury,
Doughboy, you'll be more heavy than Miss Kirstie Alley

Watch him smile and poke his tummy
All he wants is your money
He's got poor body image and he can't be slim
He wants you to be as fat as him!

Master of rolls
Captain of cookies
Eat the dough, don't bother cooking
Doughboy! Prince of pastry
Doughboy, the whole world can see that he's fresh out of glee

Yum, yum yum yum! Doughboy!
Yum, yum yum yum! Doughboy!
Yum, yum yum yum! Doughboy!
Yum, yum yum yum! Doughboy!

And when you weigh
More than a gross ton
You'll know that the doughboy has won
Doughboy! I guarantee
Doughboy, obese you will be with doughboy's victory

All his life
He's been waiting
Soon your gut there'll be no deflating
Doughboy! Cause in his dreams
Doughboy, every night can see a world that's fat like he

All of this song
I've been performing
Let it be your final warning
Doughboy! Of Pillsbury,
Doughboy, with low self-esteem, wants you to be obsese

Thanks, Paul. You know, it was your own "Ahoy! (Cruel Pirates We Be)" that inspired me to finally get around to parodying this song.

Thanks, Charlie...that happens a lot around here...it's one of the best reasons to post and also to read the work of others (although I have been remiss in that category of late due to work obligations)...you think of other songs you might be able to work an idea into - one that might not have come to mind without someone else exploring it here first. Buddy Holly - man, you're going back into the 50's with that. I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when I first heard my brother playing Buddy Holly songs, next to Elvis, I thought they were the best thing going in music at the time...and with his twang and higher voice it was easier for me to picture singing his songs than Elvis's.

I almost docked you a point for not mentioning the Pillsbury Doughboy's evil twin, the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man from "Ghostbusters." But, unlike crescent rolls, that would have been pointless. Fives all the way.
