The Lyrics

Idea inspired by Ethan Mawyer. I can't believe no one's done this yet. It's true: Roger Miller, of "King of the Road" fame, did the commercial where McDonald's introduced the Big Mac in 1968.
Oh, the cows say... "Eat mor chikin"
and those cows are... black and white.
Don't need fork, knife... to eat their stuff, babe.
We should keep them... out of sight.

You know the buns have... sesame seeds.
Special sauce they... start to spread.
Golden arches... no tomatoes
so the ketchup's... the only trace of red.

Now in the drive-thru, huh, huh, huh
ooh, Sunday morning, uh-huh
Egg McMuffins... and coffee to swig.
But lunchtime is... around the corner.
Could your next meal... be Mac the Big?

Uh, there's two patties, uh, uh, all made of beef, or do we know?
With diced onions... just a-droopin' on down.
Oh, it's more than... quarter-pound's weight, dear.
Five'll get you burger and fries... from the Clown.

Now, did you hear about Roger Miller? He sang its first ad
nineteen sixty-eight... and they paid in cash.
Lettuce, pickles, cheese will not fail ya.
If you don't order... a shake, that's something rash!

Now, old Roy Rogers... whoa, Wendy Thomas.
Ooh, the Burger King must... bow to the Clown.
Oh, the line forms... on the right, babe
at the Mickey... D's in town!

Now...
All Five of you Guys... Batman's Red Robin
even Burger Smashers... must bow to the Clown.
Oh, the line forms... on the right, babe
at the Mickey... D's in town!

Look out, we eat Big Macs!
To be honest, though, I now prefer Smashburger 1st, Five Guys 2nd, Wendy's 3rd. But Burger King still stinks. Figuratively and literally. I'll take Ronald, Grimace and the gang any day. And if you don't like this parody on merit, fine. But if you one-bomb it for political reasons, all I can say is, "What a Kroc!"

Funny parody, and a lesson in musical history. The "Sunday Morning" line reminds me that Chick-Filet is closed on Sundays. In KCK there is always a line at McDonald's but the Burger King across the street is usually wide open at he drive thru. If you're eating either one, speed is more important to me than the fact that McDonald's burger is slightly better. Five Guys has a much better burger than either Burger King or McDonald's. But the store here in KC plays rock music at ear damaging levels. I'd wear my shooting range headphones, but then again someone might think I was there to pull a Columbine. And Kansas (and Missouri) both allow no-permit necessary concealed carry. Ate a Wendy's burger once, didn't like it. Never heard of Smashburger, must be a regional chain. Red Robin is found in some of the outer suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri, outside of my normal daily drive. This whole parody has made me hungry. When I'm finished here, think I will go to--The China Buffet.

No mention of Carl's Jr. nor Jack in the Box?

I'm enough of a McDonald's fan to give you 555! But I live in California, so there are literally dozens of fast food places and restaurants everywhere. The choices for food of all types is endless. And Starbucks on every corner and in Safeway stores and Targets.
