Rob, I know it's supposed to be funny, and admittedly a lot of the stuff during the debates WAS funny! "what even is a K?" but, I don't know. I guess they lost a lot of respect from me, when they did their "somber" opening with Kate McClinton singing "Hallelujah." it's one of the only times they've done a completely serious opening, and the other times they have, were with national tragedies. (9/11 and the like.) it seemed to me, like they were calling Trump's victory a national tragedy. when I'd argue that we avoided tragedy, when Clinton lost! well, regardless, I'll give it another try. maybe it's funny again? I just know that one cold opening rubbed me the wrong way!

For me, it was Michelle Obama telling Oprah that "we know what it is to lose hope" now that Trump was elected. Why? The beginning of the death of liberalism?
