"Carl's Junior: f*** you, I'm eating.

For those east of the Mississippi River, just substitute Hardees for Carl's Jr., since they are run by the same umbrella company.

I love Carl's Jr but am mad at Hardee's which acquired Burger Chef a long time ago. They kept a few menu items and then dropped them. Burger Chef fans are angry. Burger Chef was a competitor to McDonald's in the '60s-'70s and came out with their Fun Meal before McDonald's ripped it off as their Happy Meal. I grew up with Burger Chef. It was so cool. Food was great and kids got free coloring sheets at the counter to draw on. Out here in California there are many who miss both Burger Chef and Herfy's. I think the latter is still around somewhere, but Hardee's killed BC and CKE owns them.

Nice to hear from you Jon. I thought you weren't commenting anymore because I parodied Jeb Bush! Btw, there are no Hardee's near me. I used to avoid the one we had decades earlier due to the Burger Chef decision...

^ Ha Ha! Nope! sorry Rob didn't mean to give you that impression! I'm by no means a sore-head and can usually take jokes even if they're not in line with my beliefs for example in "Family Guy" they will sometimes make jokes about religion and I being a Christian don't typically get offended unless it's in-your-face "LOLNOGODYOUDUMB" type jokes that aren't really jokes so much as they are atheists trying to feel superior I mean if you can't laugh at yourself once in a while right? also I know the feeling of avoiding certain places/brands because of stupid decisions they've made my family avoids Papa John's because of their use of Seyton... I mean Peyton Manning as well as Pizza Hut for using Blake Shelton in their commercials Shelton by the way has also recently become the face of clothing brand Gildan so there's another company who'll be getting no more business from me! :P
