Parody Song Title:

"It's a Most Unusable Pay"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

It's a Most Unusable Pay
Feel like throwing my paycheck away
As an old skinny wallet, well worn, just might say
It's a Most Unusable Pay..

This is most unusable cash
Lack of digits just make my teeth gnash
If it weren't for job loss, I would go tell my boss
It's a Most Unusable Pay..

Bill collectors from all sectors
In reflectors, I can see
At my rear view
I've a clear view
Guess the whole convoy's shadowing me..

For this Most Unusable check
I'd be worth lots more stretching my neck
Still, they'd stake out my grave,
Seeking cash where I lay
Might as well..go bankrupt today..
It's a Most Unusable Pay

Big and small bills, wall to wall bills
Postmen haul bills to my flat..
Speaking plainly, not insanely,
Flat's a fitting term, flat's where I'm at..

I'd be worth lots more stretching my neck,
Still, they'd come to my grave,
Seeking cash where I lay..
Just as well...file bankrupt today..
It's a Most Unusable, Most Unusable,
Most unusable......Pa-a-a-a-ay !

(Nurse, I'd like my sedative now..)

I remember this song from a pantomime I musically directed many years ago, and I have to say you have captured it brilliantly!

Thank you, Robbie Roo...why do I feel like Scooby Doo, when I say that?...yeah, it's an oldie..

Not familiar with the original, but I can see the workmanship here - perfect title and clever rhyming throughout. Loved the double use of "flat". Here's a few 5s (and a valium) to help ya out.

I thought it was going to be about counterfeit money - if it HAD been, the Secret Service would probably be commenting here! Good job, AFW.

With the way the dollar is going these days, this song is painfully relevant... $15 for you... :)

So, you too have discovered that parody writing doesn't pay all that well? "There's no praise to beat the sort you can put in your pocket." (Moliere 1622 - 1673), but take these Fives anyway. Don't spend them all in one place.
