The Lyrics

Stephen/Step-Chan and I decided to have a parody contest about video games. We will judge based on the scores you give us. I have a feeling I'm gonna lose...
When there is nothing else for me to do
I just plug in my video games and watch the tube
Yes, I just sit there and get fat all night
But it's worth all of them video games, yes it is all right.

Well, I'm fatter now than I have ever been
I got pizza sauce all over my new jeans
I'm passin' every level without any trouble
I got a high score and my points started to double
Oh, no trouble at all.

I love video games
Even though they kill my brain.
I spend summer playin' the one thing
That keeps me entertained.

Well, I just beat the last level
Beat the old folks who, don't know Nintendo
I don't play Atari, I only play what's new
Since the PSP, threw out PS2
Oh my my, oh yeah, yes.
Oh my, look at that dirty mess.
But I don't care, I'm playing games
I can't turn it off, "cos I'm almost done.

I love video games
Even though they kill my brain.
I spend summer playin' the one thing
That keeps me entertained.

Addiction is still inside me.
Although I know it's unhealthy
Guess I'll play until my doom
Though I hope it won't be soon.
Because I'm, still not done
I can't die while I'm still having fun.
Only force that can try and stop me is my mom.
She tells me to sleep so I guess I am done.

Good bye video games
You exhausted my good brain.
I spent summer killin' villains, I'm ready for school again.

555, I think it's funny and cute.

Only remember the chorus for TOS. 5s, and that ties your contest.

I did try to load the OS yesterday, but the media player wouldn't let me, so I had to go by memory myself(I took your word on pacing, since you done some Tom Petty before).

Dominic, I hate to be the one to break your perfect 5's, but I had to give you a 4 for pacing. I listened to the original while reading this, and it was kind of hard to follow your lyrics at times. Still, it's a great parody and concept.

I did go over this again and again to make sure I had the right pacing, but I don't blame you for giving me a 4, because you have to stretch certain words and shorten others. It's just hard to read with it.

I know how hard it is to make parodies of Tom Petty's songs to(due to how he sings and enuciates his lyrics).
