A hand above the blanket,
Your mother reaching for your books,
Is it raining I wonder?
Do I have to go out?
And everywhere people are going,
From every lonely livingroom,
The teachers are going,
Nothing but school,

One by one,
everyone goes when their young,
They dont realise it's good for them,
Life goes on... with school...

Another tricky bloody drawing,
I have to do it for art class,
And I find myself thinking,
Well, is it that hard to do?
Yes, it was such a bloody mathes class,
Forever doing all those sums,
Hell, I'm home in three hours,
I'll make my way through,

One by one,
Everyone goes when their young,
They dont realise it's good for them,
We'll remember...school forever...

And now the school day must be over,
I guess we'll someday understand,
The sence of us going,
Was for us to get 'plans',
And so we grace another day there,
And go to English one more time,
You mother's at the door,
And I aint ever, I'm never not going again,
