The Lyrics

I heard this song 3 times today.
I hear that darn song day and night,
And on that "Dawson's Creek" each time,
You know that song was good the first ten times,
What's wrong with all those Djs minds?

I've liked Paula, see
With her "Cowboy" song ditty,
Tolerated her some more
But now this new song plays,
Twenty times a day,
I so tired of her voice, help me Lord.
I'd rather hear nails across a chalkboard.

I don't want to wait
For the song to be over,
I hate the words, the rhymes,
And plus the beat.
How much I can take,
I don't know what's my limit,
If I hear it I'll make those guys,
Sorry

Drving home from work,
I was feeling like a jerk,
Then that song started playing.
I then wrecked my truck,
And then I went nuts,
It's so hard not to hear this stupid song.
There's overplayed but this,
Song has new limits.

I don't want to wait
For the song to be over,
It drives a man like me,
To murdering.
How much I can take?
I think I might go psycho,
And find Ms. Cole and take her soul,
Slowly.

Blow up the MTV,
And take out my car,
I'm hearing that song once again .
Believe me, I've heard it plenty,
It sucks you into the mind of dullness,
Oh, it digs a little more deeply into my mind
Overplayed artists should go to Hell,
And I don't want to hear it
All over and all over and all over, heh.
I wanna kill them now!

A song like this gets in your mind.
And drives you straight to homicide,
You know this song is dumb with corny rhymes,
Where's the peace the word 'I'?

I don't want to wait
For the song to be over,
I hate the words, the rhymes,
And plus the beat.
How much I can take,
I don't know what's my limit,
If I hear it I'll make those guys,
Sorry
I don't want to wait
For the song to be over,
It drives a man like me,
To murdering.
How much I can take?
I think I might go psycho,
And find Ms. Cole and take her soul,
Slowly.

I wish that Paula Cole would die,
And take that song out of our lives.
I'm tired of the song I hear each night,
It drives me straight to homicide.

This OS is a staple of soft rock and "smooth jazz" radio stations that overplay so much it decreases productivity in offices all over America. Listen to Elvis Costello's Radio Radio and you will see why it makes so much sense today. BTW, great job in this parody.

Excellent job man. While this record is actually called "I Don't Want To (not wanna) Wait", I think you made a damn good parody of it. Here you go, have some 5s.
