The Lyrics

Summer day in June
Dublin, Ireland news
England rules again
Ride electric trams

Bloom's the one
Who married Marion
And Rudy's his dead son
His life don't look like fun
He's a man of modest means
Man of modest means
And I say
He's the one
Whose head it simply swirls
From all the seaside girls
Daughter Milly has her curls
And he likes to eat kidney
Likes to eat kidney
And I say, yecchhh!

Takes a Nighttown tour
Meets a friendly whore
Kisses Bella's boot
Tender bum, L. Bloom!

He's the son
Of Virag (Hungarian)
Jewish Dublin denizen
But not into religion
'Cause he don't know what it means
Don't know what it means
And I say
He's the one
Who likes frillies and tight thongs
But he knows his right from wrong
So annoys the Citizen
And solicits ads for Keyes
Solicits ads for Keyes
Agendath Netaim!

Later on
He'll rescue drunk Stephen
And wish he was his son
But that's just an illusion
But each will meet his needs
Each gets what he needs
Then we see
Day is done
Stephen goes and says "So long"
All is right against the wrong
He kisses Molly's buns
Then slips into his dreams
Slips into his dreams
Slips into his dreams
Molly says YES

Looks like you've got an epic going.

DKTOS, sorry Agri.

I do KTOS and this is excellent. If you're making an entire Nevermind album that is a major undertaking.

Red Ant: There will be only 1 more song in this vein, to make a conceptual triptych. (you should be able to guess what the OS and the title will be!)

(ABC3J) See above, and I still like this a lot. Kudos on changing up all the choruses too.

More of the serious type, but very well written and deep.

What? The only Leopold Bloom I know about is a character in The Producers. I'm definitely not your target audience with this one Aggy because it went over my head. Still there were a few lines that I enjoyed like the saying "Yecccch!" to kidneys one. Other that that I was rather confused by this whole ordeal. Perhaps I need to read more classic literature.

Very interesting read, not terribly familiar with topic so the wiki link helped, great idea to a great os

(Artistry) I have to concur with Matthias on this one. Some good lines here, but I was completely confused because I kept expecting the singer to start yelling about his blue blanket or something. Maybe I need to read more. Not just classic literature, just in general.

(Artistry) I can picture a young Agrimorfee turning this in to his teacher for his book report. Nice turn on the OS title, nice anthem for Bloomsday. :-)
