The Lyrics

This is nothing but a tribute to Heavy Metal and a few of my favorite bands in that genre. I wish I could list them all but these are what come to mind first.
Ladies and Gents...this is MOSH PIT NUMBER FIVE!!!!!

One, two, three four five
Everybody in the pit, get thrashy
Let's booze at the bar in the back
The boys say they want some rap and jazz
But I don't wanna hear that
Torture to my ear, all through the night
I must say no
Because that shit's too weak
I like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Motley Crue
It's the Metal you know
An it's getting stronger
So what can I do but thrash and punch you in the throat
To me, moshing's just a dance, for the strong
So if you'd listen to me
Please turn on my CD

[chorus]
A little Iron Maiden in my life
A little Guns 'N Roses in the light
A little AC/DC's what I need
A little Led Zeppelin if you please
Throw in some Slayer as we run
And then Metallica all night long
And then Pantera in the mix
All the guys I list give life its kicks

Jump up and down, and punch the crowd
Head bang to the sound
Megadeth's got the ground
Punch one man left
and one man right
Keep moshing to the front, and to the side
Punch a man once
And headbutt him twice
And if your still standing through it all
Then you're doing it right

[chorus]
A little Iron Maiden in my life
A little Guns 'N Roses in the light
A little AC/DC's what I need
A little Led Zeppelin if you please
Throw in some Slayer as we run
And then Metallica all night long
And then Pantera in the mix
All the guys I list give life its kicks

To fall in love with that rap shit
You can't run and you can't hide
We gonna find and mosh you 'til you cry

[chorus]
A little Iron Maiden in my life
A little Guns 'N Roses in the light
A little AC/DC's what I need
A little Led Zeppelin if you please
Throw in some Slayer as we run
And then Metallica all night long
Then throw Pantera in the mix
All the guys I list give life its kicks

Beyond genius. The OS is one of my favorites and the parody is completely awesome. Keep up the good work.

Nice and tight and well phrased. Not hysterically funny but witty with attitude. I like it. 555

Rather tricky OS, and I'm one of the biggest metal fans on AmIRight! Just one quick question: where is DragonForce in this parody? 555
SamuraiMaster - September 05, 2009 - Report this comment
Dragonforce is not in my list of favorite bands, because of a few things. -Guitar Hero born a new generation of people that now say Dragonforce is the best because of their speed. There's more to music than speed. Most of their melodies and beats are very and I mean VERY similiar to each other. They almost have no variation in their music. es their recent album was different, and I appreciate that, but their earlier albums were not that different. -When they play live, sometimes they can just really sound bad. They cannot reproduce their music like other bands of today can. I don't know why, they can sometimes do it, but sometimes they screw u pretty bad. I like the band, and their style, but I get a kick out of the more thrashy bands, not just speed. They got speed down, but they gotta geta little more variation in their music. I hope I'm not royally pissing you off, but I'm not the biggest Dragonforce fan here. I like your loyalty, but my loyalty lies with these three bands mostly: Metallica, Pantera, and Megadeth.

I agree with you on most of that. I still think that if you did an excellent song, why would you want to risk changing anything? Still, that's just me. If you want more of a different D-Force track, listen to the guitar break section before the solo on Disciples Of Babylon. Very jazzy! I know you're not trying to get me mad, I'm cool with your opinion. Stay heavy!

Love your commitment to your favourite genre! I'm not really a big metalhead, but I do love AC DC. The pacing gets a little off every once in a whil, but good overall. And it's really funny. Tricky song to parody, but you did a great job.
