The Lyrics

This is to celebrate my 99th AmIRight parody. . .though this one is not my best work, it may get recorded when I get up to 99 recordings anyway just to commemorate that as well. I couldn't fit all 98 previous parodies but I referenced as many as I could, the more you've read by me--the more you'll get this. I'm at badave.com as usual. I know most people celebrate 100, I just wanted to be different.
Dime Wives and Priorities, This is Parody Ninety-Nine

Don't Sleep, Pizza Night
All these characters I write
Coming from my mind
From them Penguins coming for ya
You say rewrite Ms. Clevage but I don't think that I'm gonna
That song sucks so much, it reeks
So did that old "Darn Lizzy"
I've done Wannabe, Candyman, Holiday and Chubbies
and though they may annoy you
Please don't be a weener
So when Moo Moo was through,
I hit End of the World
To me writing laughs is what it's all for
"Rainbow" caused cries
but that's cool, "South Park" put me back up on it

A little "Bluberina" danced at night
A little "Churnalicious" gets you high
A little bit of fun on "New Years Eve"
You had better watch for my Turkeys
A little bit of Pepsi, I need some
I'll be mixing chemicals all night long
I'm lost out there somewhere, Fighting men
I'll be wearing "Clear", Flaunting all I can

I'm at Ninety-Nine

My Bowlings down
and Wife's are skipping town
Them Trolls coming 'round
Hit Matty with my sound
Talk Pizza Theft
And Blood-Suck nights
No Hos that I want
but Hook Ups on the side
Underpaid once
Brainless twenty times
and if it's Like the Craft
then I need another write

A Weenie on a Hot Bun's on my mind
I Smelt You on the Bus Line, nasty guy
I'm just a tad bit Lazy can't you see
and I can't cook for crap, Don't Download Me
A little bit of Twinkies, chips are done
I'm not imaginary, news is on
A little Ken's Revenge, this write is canned
So Psychology's not my best man

Broken!

I Dare You!

I'm at Ninety Nine

No more M.T.V. is in my life
A little bit of Yahoo! every night
Another Dead End Job is all I need
but then Power of Tax is what I'll see
I'll be squinting late watching 'til dawn
Or play at the Casino really long
I'm catching all the Beads because I can
Wind Beneath My Butt was dirty man

Jock Itch, that too
Japan, Meat and Shaving boo
From Sipping Post, to Bowser's nights
Slim Fast, Heat and dogs sterilized

I'm at Ninety Nine

I forgot how good this OS was, so thanks for bringing that back around, I think I need to take a crack at it now. (It might be because it has a Ska/Swing soung to it). Anyways about your parody, I followed it perfectly fine, that's because I know your work, but a n00bie reading this won't know your work and probably won't like it as much as I did. I'm sad that Pool Boy Prophet, and Every Sunday didn't make it in, but there were plenty of your parodies in here that I like that made up for it. I think I've written far too many parodies for me to do something like this, so good idea.

Hey, I recognise almost all of 'em! This is bloody brilliant mate, keep 'em comin' (and maybe one day, you'll have enough to parody 1999 by Prince to the same topic)!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you guys got what I did:)

Agri: There's another parody idea I could have used

Matthias: Any n00bie could read my intro and see that I pointed that out --wink-- --wink--

Adagio: Thanks, I've been listening to a lot of swing/mambo/latin tunes lately, just on that kind of kick I guess

Jack: Thanks

TCOP: If I reach that point (1999) I'll do it as long as you are still around, but I think I'll miss a lot more parody references that time;)

I can't guarantee that I won't, but what I can say is I have no objective to:) I simply post parodies as they flow, which rarely is more than one a week, though now and then I get on a kick and will churn out several a week (like that day I did 4 Green Day parodies or the 7 Deadly Sins things).
Ann Hammond - April 13, 2008 - Report this comment
^ I use to do 1 or 2 a week of whatever comes to me. Before that I did one every day but I don't have a reasom to do that now. I just want to get myself writing again.
